The association was established in the Kingdom of Bahrain by decision of the Ministry of Social Development No. (32) of 2006 AD. It was announced and registered by decision of the Minister of Social Development under No. 25/C/AH.H in the name of (Al-Al and Friends Association).
The association seeks to achieve a number of goals and accomplish a number of visions through its work and advocacy journey. The association’s efforts in this regard are summarized as follows:
Disseminating the heritage of the pure family (Ahl al-Bayt) and the good companions (Sahaba), in a manner befitting their great status among Muslims.
Working to highlight the intimate fraternal relations between the family and companions, and instilling their love in the souls of Muslims.
Demonstrating the role of the family and companions in serving Islam, through their adherence to the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet
Strengthening the concept of cohesion among members of one society by clarifying the misconceptions in the minds of some Muslims regarding the pure family (Ahl al-Bayt) and the good companions (Sahaba).
Speech of the President of the Association In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful Chairman›s speech All praise be to Allah, and may the peace be upon Muhammed the Chosen Prophet, his family and his companions. Allah said (interpretation of the meaning):{ It is He who has sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Book; in it are verses [that are] precise – they are the foundation of the Book – and others unspecific. As for those in whose hearts is deviation [from truth], they will follow that of it which is unspecific, seeking discord and seeking an interpretation [suitable to them]. And no one knows its [true] interpretation except Allāh. But those firm in knowledge say, «We believe in it. All [of it] is from our Lord.» And no one will be reminded except those of understanding. } Quran (7 :3) Whoever carefully studies the Islamic history and follows the depths of its incidents, will easily find the huge number of fabricated Hadiths and narrations through which the wicked aspired to create a fertile ground for spreading their beliefs, for which Allah did not send down no authority. Most of these topics were aimed at slandering the first generation of the companions of the Messenger of Allah (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) as well as his family (may Allah be pleased with them). As for the book of Allah: they deliberately interpreted its verses in a way that turned them away from their apparent meaning. As for the Sunnah: it was easy for them to fabricate a Hadith for themselves; to the extent that one of them, who repented, said: If we liked a matter, we would have called it a Hadith. In the midst of these incidents: the Islamic Ummah passed through many regimes, some of which supported the doctrine of the state. Therefore, those who opposed them concealed the virtues of those who do not follow the doctrine of the state, from the family and companions of the prophet Muhammed.. But Allah wills that from among the fear of these people, and the envy of others, what fills the East and the West in terms of narrations, texts, incidents and lessons that contradict the purposes and intentions of those wicked people. The Association of Family and companions – was horrified by the size of this pure and pure heritage among the rubble of these fabricated narrations – has determined to bring to light what it found out from the narrations, texts and evidence that reflects the purity of that ideal
Whoever looks at the association’s activities, means, and the goals that it seeks to achieve, it becomes clear to him that
1 -The association has taken upon itself to strengthen national cohesion by correcting the misconceptions of some people regarding the relationship of the purified prophet`s household (Ahl al-Bayt) and the companions. Likewise, standing up for and defending the dignity of the honorable Companions, and taking them as good examples for all Muslims. The association took part in each aspect. Its activities included educational, advocacy, social and cultural aspects. Which covers all aspects of the life of society.
2 – The association has a prominent role and a great effort in resisting the destructive ideas that promote misconceptions about the heritage of the prophet`s household and companions by raising awareness of its effects, indicating its dangers, addressing its various secretions, and blocking its ways by expanding advocacy, cultural and social activity in society.
3 – The association took a large part in the advocacy field through the large number of its members, the beneficiaries of its services, and the beneficiaries of its activities, which allowed it to have a social weight in the Bahraini field in general.
